Let me start this post with one thing: When I listen to Pink Floyd, its hard to distinguish where I end and the music begins.

As a little girl growing up it was always my dream to go to a Pink Floyd concert and see all four members of Floyd reunite. Once Rick Wright died (God Bless His Beautiful Soul), I knew that dream was never going to come true. I have seen two Pink Floyd concerts: Roger Water’s “Dark Side of the Moon” tour for my 13th Birthday and his current tour of “The Wall” for my 17th this past September. They were both amazing and stunning shows. My only qualm is… WHY DIDN’T DAVID GILMOUR AND NICK MASON DECIDE TO MAKE GUEST APPEARANCES AT THE WALL CONCERT THAT WENT TO? I’m jealous of those thousands of people in London who got to see all three of them performing together (even just for a little bit) on May 11th. But as jealous as I am, I just really hope that those people enjoyed every second of it and realize how lucky they were. Who knows, maybe I’ll get a chance someday to see a mini-reunion concert. :)

Here’s an article about the concert with two epic videos: The “Outside the Wall” one that’s shown above, and the video of “Comfortable Numb” with David playing.

The hug at 1:48 in the Outside the Wall video makes me cry a tiny little tear of joy. And isn’t Nick just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?
